Born in Bologna in 1972.
In 1999 he began his artistic career by presenting the work in solo and group exhibitions, both in public and private spaces.
In 2003 exposes the Spazio Aperto of Modern Art of Bologna.
In 2009 is one of the authors invited to the Prague Biennale4. At present its latest research, 40 nights at Montecristo, is present at the exhibition Lost in the landscape, at the MART in Rovereto.
His images have been included in publications on Italian and international photography, Future Images, curated by Mario Cresci (24 ORE Cultura), Laboratorio Italia. La fotografia nell’arte contemporanea, curated by Marinella Paderni (Johan & Levi Editore), and Tre strade per la fotografia by Luca Panaro (APM Editore).
He is one of the winners of the 2010 of the Terna Prize 03 for contemporary art and is the winner of Francesco Fabbri Award 2015, in the section Contemporary Photography.
Recently, some of his works have been acquired in the permanent collection of the Galleria Civica di Modena, UniCredit collection, and in the permanent collection of the MART.
He lives and works in Bologna and Milan.
